camp justin was so much fun last night. i cant remember the last time i pitched a tent in a backyard and camped out with a bunch of friends. it was a little taste of what isle royale should be like in just a few weeks (fingers crossed that it works out).

oh and hopefully if all goes well... this is what the new kitten i should be getting, looks like. his name is Max.

the anticipated remake of charlie and the chocolate factory is finally in theatres,woohoo (and might i say looks a lot different, maybe even creepier than the first. plus includes johnny depp) aand the half blood prince comes out @ midnight...yes which is the time i will be receiving it when i go to the book store to pick it up tonight. dork? never.

so my mom is a gardener, and i work with her weekly...she just recieved a new client just this morning...but was unaware of who this person was (being so she almost said she was too busy to take him on).

upon being informed of who she was, she immediately changed her mind...to then find that she and i would be working for lions quaterback...JOE HARRINGTON!!!

so now i not only work for him, but the president of the tigers, and larry brown (pistons coach)...who i both walk dogs for.

isnt that insane??

the crowd wound around the theatre and streets of detroit for blocks and blocks. however that did little to stop doc, andy, phil and i from getting the very closest to the stage as possible. so close...oh yes one could touch cedric, and how amazing it was. a huge canvas covered the stage before the show began then as it dropped BAM.. WA NI NI WA...SOLO... the rocked out. spacy/latin/rock filled our ears (and being intoxicated to just the right amount, blended with just the right amount of movement --this lady next to me was going crazy for sure, groping me and all-- totaled to the greatest, nearly 2 hours, of my life..) all things must come to and end however.. we were --blinded by the light--and everything faded to black, they began to run off stage...took a bow, waved, and just as fast as it began. it was over.

best weekend of mylife.
*wink wink* the night before.
muchos gracias to a wonderful evening in za hot tub while gazing upon the northern lights. (we had to have seen them).

change of concert plans. i guess no eisley on wednesday :( they're just opening up for another band i care not to see...but i dont know maybe ill change my mindif something convinces me otherwise.

other than that...thunderbirds are now and the fiery furnaces are on tap for this friday and next tuesday.

so hopefully i'll be packing that yellow suitcase i've acquired just last summer (for free at a garage sale i might add) in just a few months. i need my own place desperately. until then...i've got other things to look forward to.
a weekend at the cottage(how i love a good game of kick the can)
a select few concerts..eisley this wednesday, dirtbombs in the near future, and the mars volta at the end of may.
the possible trip this summer to new york and definite hiking trip, back to isle royale. thats long overdue.

oh.
and.
a musical gathering should be called into session within the next few days. its been too long since we got together last.
